The Grand Final has come down to a clash between the two teams who shared the points table lead throughout the season. Redlands has the edge on Redcliffe having won 4 of their five clashes including the controversial Chairman's Flag victory. Redlands played a great first half in the Major Semi 2 weeks ago and were able to contain a second half comeback by the Dolphins with strong defence. Redlands may be a little underdone having played only one game in 27 days before the Grand Final, but they certainly shouldn't have any injury worries. Redcliffe have had a much tougher run, starting with the draw against Souths the week before the semis, then games against Arana, Redlands and Logan Brothers in the last 3 weeks. Would be surprising to see this game be decided by more than a converted try.
