Logan Brothers have yet to defeat Arana this year, although the Panthers were lucky to snatch a last minute draw in the Round 9 clash at Civic Park. The Logan boys will be buoyed by their "back from the dead" defeat of Souths in the Elimination Final and Arana will not be able to relax at any stage in this game. Arana only showed patches of their ability in the Qualifying Final loss to Redcliffe and will have to concentrate on ball security, particularly early in the game, to ensure the Logan forwards don't get on a roll.

Redlands will have enjoyed the week's rest earned as minor premiers to recover from their tough encounters against Logan and Redcliffe to finish the regular season. Redcliffe will be confident after their solid Qualifying Final win against Arana and Round 20 defeat of Redlands, their first win in four encounters this season. The forwards battle will be an interesting one with Redlands Queensland backrowers Jay and Brian facing up against the Dolphins Brisbane front rowers Chris and "Boxer". The four games between these two sides this year have been physical encounters and this should be no different.
