MET NORTH INJURIES: Unfortunately it has been confirmed that Joel Miranda from Redcliffe suffered a serious knee injury in Tuesday's Met North trial. From everyone at Arana, all the best to Joel for a speedy recovery. Replacement is yet to be confirmed. Alex T and Isaac, who missed the trial, will be ok to play in the titles.
MET NORTH v SUNSHINE COAST TRIAL: Met North, captained by Jozey with vice-captain Matt, went down 14-4 to Sunshine Coast in a scrappy trial at Dolphin Oval. Handling was terrible in the damp conditions with Met North completing 8/23 sets and Sunshine Coast 14/30. TJ filled in for Alex T and Phippsy for Isaac in the Met North side. SC led 10-0 at the break with both their props standing out, each scoring tries in the first half. Matt H scored Met North's only try early in the second half.
