Highlight for Arana last year was his match-turning performance in the Grand Final. Scored some spectacular tries during the year, and was very successful when moved into the second row at times to give the forwards a break. After the disappointment of missing out on Brisbane Trial, he put his head down and just played better and better as the season went on, and was subsequently rewarded with selection in the Qld Academy of Sport U15 squad.
