2003 BJRL U15A Finals Week 4 Preview
MAJOR SEMI:
LOGAN BROS v REDLANDS: Sunday Aug 31 12.30pm at Creek Rd
Last Encounter: 2003 Finals Wk 2: Logan Bros 16 def Redlands 10
Head to Head 2001/3: Redlands 7 Logan Bros 2
Last 3 Games: Logan Bros: bye; Redlands W 16-10; Arana W 40-26; Norths W 28-10
                       Redlands: Arana W 38-4; Logan Bros L 10-16; bye; Easts W 52-12
A repeat of the clash two weeks ago, where Logan Bros defeated Redlands 16-10 in a bruising contest at Emerson Park. At stake in this one is direct entry into the Grand Final in 3 weeks time. Redlands will be extra keen to avoid another loss in order to go into the Foundation Shield Final against Runaway Bay next weekend in winning form, although Logan Brothers will be desperate to prove their previous win was no fluke. Should be an absorbing battle.

KNOCKOUT SEMI:
ARANA v REDCLIFFE: Sunday Aug 31 1.15pm at Bora Ring, Banyo
Last Encounter: 2003 Round 9: Arana 18 def Redcliffe 10 (Note: Arana forfeited to Redcliffe in Round 18)
Head to Head 2001/3: Redcliffe 6 Arana 2 (not including forfeit)
Last 3 Games: Arana: Redlands L 4-38; Souths W 26-18; Logan Bros L 26-40
                       Redcliffe: Souths W 24-12; Easts W 14-12; Souths L 24-30
Well it's time to "put up or shut up" for the defending Premiers Arana as the loser of this game against the Dolphins is gone for the season. Arana turned in a dreadful performance last Sunday and will be doing a lot of soul searching this week, whilst Redcliffe dug deep to knock out the Magpies after trailling 12-0 early in the match. These two teams have met only once in competition this year, due to Arana forfeiting the last round match, and the Panthers sneaked home in a tight encounter, although they were also victorious in an earlier trial. Redcliffe were Arana's nemesis in the earlier days so the Panthers will want to extract some revenge in this one. Should be an entertaining encounter between two desperate sides.

Souths, Easts, Norths, Centenary, and Holy Spirit have been eliminated.
