Alex had a great individual year in 2001 and will be looking to repeat this year, although he is keen to erase the memory of Arana's disappointing end to the season.

Extremely quick and elusive, with a good kicking game, he is also a devastating defender. Enjoys playing five-eight, but is equally at home at  centre, where he played most of his rep football and was selected for the Qld Merit Squad last year.
