A wiry and speedy centre, Mitchell is deceptively strong, and knows how to break the line. Also a strong defender. Unfortunately broke his collarbone off-field before the season started, and again playing rugby before getting on the field for Arana, but will be looking to regain his 2001 Brisbane rep form as soon as he returns. Is also a zone representative cricket player.
