It's do-or-die time now for Easts and they really must win this one to be any hope of making the semis. Souths defence has looked shaky for some weeks now, and if the Tigers can contain Mase and the rest of the Souths attack they will be a chance to knock off the Maggies. Could be a tight one.

Logan Bros pipped Redlands 20-18 in a controversial match in the first round and the Parakeets will be looking for revenge in this one. Logan Bros have not lost a match since April and despite struggling with injuries managed to fight back for a draw against competition leaders Arana on Sunday in a brave showing. Both teams lift for this match-up and with the race for places at the top so tight, this should be a beauty.

If ever there was a monkey, it is riding on Arana's back every time they play the Dolphins. The Panthers thought they had shaken it with a win in the trials, but it returned to haunt them in the first round when Redcliffe inflicted the first loss of the season for Arana, courtesy of a last minute converted try. Arana cannot afford to lose this game or their competition lead will be gone, and Redcliffe are desperate for a win to stay in the race for a final five position. Should be a great finish to this round.
