2002 BJRL U14A Round 15 Preview
CENTENARY v REDCLIFFE: Friday July 12 8.00pm at Ipswich Rd
First Round Result: Centenary 22 def Redcliffe 20   Head to Head 2001/2: Cent 1 Redcliffe 0
Last 3 Rounds:  Centenary: Arana W 20-14; Souths W 38-30; Redlands W 30-18
                        Redcliffe: Souths D 30-30; Redlands L 0-44; Logan Bros L 14-22
Centenary have hit a real "purple patch"  having won 4 straight, including victories over Chairman's Trophy participants Arana and Redlands. Redcliffe finally showed some glimpses of their true potential in the second half of the match against Souths, and will be looking to take this form to Ipswich Rd. The first round clash was a ripper, and this should be no different.

REDLANDS v EASTS: Friday July 12 8.30pm at Pinklands
First Round Result: Redlands 34 d Easts 12  Head to Head 2001/2: Redlands 1 Easts 0
Last 3 Rounds: Redlands: Slacks Ck W 60-14; Redcliffe W 44-0; Centenary L 18-30
                        Easts: Logan Bros L 16-24; Arana L4-34; Slacks Ck W 24-4
Redlands scored a big win over Slacks Ck on Wednesday night, and will be looking to do the same over the Tigers. Easts showed improved form on Tuesday against the in-form Logan Brothers outfit, finishing strongly to win the second half and they will be looking to put in a full 60 minute effort against the defending premiers. Hard to see them toppling the Parakeets though.

SOUTHS v SLACKS CK: Sunday July  14 12.45pm at Brandon Pk
First Round Result: Souths 30 def Slacks Ck 12  Head to Head 2001/2: Souths 1 Slacks Ck 0
Last 3 Rounds: Souths: Redcliffe D 30-30; Centenary L 30-38; Arana L 22-28
                        Slacks Ck: Redlands L 14-60; Logan Bris L 6-52; Easts L 4 -24
Slacks Ck put on one of their best efforts in the early rounds against Souths and will be looking to repeat this on Sunday. Souths will be a bit deflated by letting a big lead get away from them against the Dolphins and may be vulnerable. Souths certainly can score points, but their defence continues to be suspect - their attacking flair should see them home over the Lions though.

ARANA v LOGAN BROS: Sunday July 14 2.30pm at Dawson Pde
First Round Result: Arana 30 def L.B. 28  Head to Head 2001/2: Arana 3 L.B 1 Drawn 1
Last 3 Rounds: Arana: Centenary L 14-20; Easts W 34-4; Souths W 28-22
                      L.B.: Easts W 24-16; Slacks Ck  W 52-6; Redcliffe W 22-14
The broken-bone beset Arana will really have their work cut out for them on Sunday against the southside team that has won 7 straight - in fact Arana were the last team to defeat Logan Bros in a thriller back on April 28!! This is an important game for Arana as a loss will most likely see them hauled in by the three teams chasing them to leave a four way tie at the top of the table. This should be a great game to finish the weekend's matches.

Enjoy your footy!!
